Hailing from Houston, Texas, VERNON is an African-American electronic dance music producer who grew up on the north side of town. Seeing his mother’s struggles while raising him and his older sister instilled an entrepreneurial drive in him that he later combined with his natural talent for music.
He draws inspiration from various music genres influenced by the diverse cultures he encountered in different schools growing up. Vernon began producing music over 9 years ago, starting with FL Studio 9 on his family’s old Dell computer. His focus has always been on creating beats with chords and melodies that evoke emotions in listeners.
